A Beginners Guide To Ibiza Fashion

Ibiza is everyone’s favourite party island and if you’re heading to the white isle this summer, then you might be feeling the pressure about what to wear and pack. How many bikinis are really acceptable for a long weekend? What do you wear for a day out on a boat? Whether you’re heading to the clubs or spending the day by the pool, here is a beginners guide to Ibiza fashion.

Pool Party

If you don’t go to at least one pool party in Ibiza, have you even been? If your hotel is throwing its own pool party or if you are heading to Ocean Beach for that ultimate party experience, you’re going to want to nail your look. Pool parties are all about wearing that eye-catching swimwear that you don’t even want to go into the pool in. Cutout swimsuits and strappy bandage bikinis are all huge trends this year and if they are in metallic colours then you’re going to enhance your look and your tan. Add a stylish kimono into your outfit plans to cover up with when the sun sets and if you get a little sunburnt.

Glitter

Ibiza is the place for glitter. Glitterbox is one of the ultimate clubs, and nothing is too over the top there. If you want to go all out, metallic or sequined dresses are the perfect outfits that don’t take up all of your suitcase room. Don’t be afraid to accessorise with glitter either - we’re talking glitter braids, glitter body paint and glitter face accessories and makeup.

Boat Party

Is there anything better than sailing around Ibiza on a boat? You’re taking a well-deserved break from the day-to-day stresses of life, and partying or relaxing in the middle of the Mediterranean ocean is a must for Ibiza visitors. Getting your boat outfit right is essential. Swimwear is obviously a must, but you want something that’s practical as well. Team your swimsuit with a pair of denim shorts and a bardot crop top for a stylish boat outfit.

Clubbing

We doubt that you’re heading to Ibiza to catch up on your sleep, and the white isle really comes alive when the sun sets. If you’re heading to Usaia, Amnesia or Pacha (maybe all 3 if you’re really dedicated) then a bodycon dress is a failsafe idea for showing off your curves. For an iconic look, choose a dress that comes with cutouts, crochet or mesh. Wear your dress with a pair of heels or flats, depending on the venues code and how much you want to dance, and you’re all good to go.

Relaxing

You’ve had a great night out, and are ready to spend the day a little more relaxed. Women’s loungewear is really popular this summer and is the perfect outfit for relaxing in your accommodation. If you prefer to relax by the sea or the pool, then stick on your swimsuit, pull on a coverup or a kimono, grab a good book and head down for a day of relaxation - you deserve
